Round 7 Cornerstone Race Information
Well it has been quiet on the internet waves for too long now! With our round race race right around the corner , it’s time to start getting ready to ride!
This Sunday(July 24th) we will be having an open practice for everyone out at Cornerstone so that you can practice the curves and jumps before the race. The track will be open to quads from Noon until 5:00 p.m. so come out and play! Visit csmxpark.com to get directions and fee’s to the park that day.
As for the race, the same schedule as last time will be enforced:
Friday, July 29
Gates open from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m for camping only. There is no electrical sopts out at Cornerstone, so come prepared. Camping will be $15.00 per night.
Saturday, July 30:
Gates open at 9:00 a.m.
Practice will be from 9:00 – 3:00 p.m.. It will be an organized practice.
Registration is from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m in the scoring tower.
Tech Insp. is from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. in front of the scoring tower
Practice fee’s are $20.00 per rider for Saturday.
Sunday, July 31
Gates open at 6:00 a.m.
Registration will be from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. in the scoring tower
Tech Insp. will be from 7:00 – 8:00 in front of the scoring tower.
Riders meeting will be at 8:00 a.m. in front of the scoring tower
Practice will start immediately after the riders meeting – organized practice with three laps per color.
Racing starts immeditely after practice
Awards ceremony immeditely after race.
** WE WILL BE FOLLOWING THE SUNDAY SCHEDULE AS CLOSE TO THE TIME AS POSSIBLE SO THAT WE CAN BEST SOME OF THE HEAT SO PLEASE BE PREPARE AND READY WHEN YOU ARE CALLED!!**
We will be selling all of our fundraiser items in the scoring tower all weekend (split pot, shoei helmet tickets, xbox tickets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and snow cones). Also want to remind everyone to get a newsletter when you register for it is full of information on the banquet and the North /South race
